Independent of Snowflake, the ERC 1484 Identity Registry provides all the necessary functionality for smart contract end-users to trustlessly link and unlink ethereum addresses from their EIN. Associated Addresses for an EIN enable authentication over an identity by allowing a user to sign messages. Further, they streamline the user onboarding flow by enabling local address generation in multiple devices or clients owned by a user without requiring transfer of a user's private keys.
